As much as RRC would love to keep all of our hand raised babies, it is not always possible. We also think it is selfish and irresponsible to do so. In order to be a good breeder, it is important to match make every special kitty to their purrfect forever home. Therefore, sometimes we have adults who need approved furever homes.
The adults usually need a different living environment. They are usually happier in calmer homes with undivided attention and tons of love. They may also go through an anxiety phase causing them to play hide & seek. This is temporary but requires lots of love and patience. Each kitty is unique and will adjust at their own time. As long as our instructions and recommendations are followed this should pass quickly.
If you have young children or other pets I highly recommend getting a kitten instead, as they are more adaptable than an adult cat. There will be an adoption fee for each kitty to help cover the cost of spay and neuter. Each Ragdoll will be individually priced according to age, sex, color/pattern and quality.
